Patisserie No. 6
Au Panetier
10, Place des Petits Freres, 2nd Arr.

Au Panetier is a quaint Art Nouveau'd-out boulangerie tucked behind a tiny little Parisian square in the second arrondissement. The star of this show is the pain au chocolat blanc. Mind you, this is not a 'pain au chocolat' which is the fraternal twin of the chocolate croissant. Naw, son. This was a different breed. This had the thick exterior of a large glazed dinner roll and the warm, fluffy and porous interior of a madeleine sprinkled with bits and pieces of oozing white chocolate morsels. I accompanied the bad boy with a nice cup of cafe creme

Patisserie Purchased: Pain au Chocolat Blanc
Cost: 250

I've come to terms that you don't go out to eat in Paris for the service but for the atmosphere. And that is exactly what Au Panetier is- good food and good vibes. Cute for what it is but no need for a special trip.

Push it Real Good

Trend Alert!
Cupcake Push-Pops
It is a very simple equation
Push Pop Containers + Mini Cupcakes + Frosting
By the end of this year these babies will be everywhere.
Just remember where you heard it first

99 Luft Balons

While planning my grandmother's 60th birthday bash at Hemingway's in Hollywood, I realized the saddle colored bookcases which home thousands upon thousands of books, the wall of antique type writers and the leather rich furniture needed a little sputter.
Therefore I ordered 30 of Geronimo's Balloons!
Her creations are more than just balloons.
She fabricates the frilly eye candy that attaches to the massive thirty-six inch latex balloon.
The hanging garlands consist of fine French ribbon, hand-marbled tissue paper, and metallic fancy frill.
To harmonize with the shadowy hues of the venue, balloons of eggplant purple, emerald green, sapphire blue, and ruby red will stud the festivities.
Pictures to come!

Lingerie Party

As part of my bachelorette weekend (which just might turn into a week-long bender), I want a night devoted to a lush lingerie party. This night would entail my brides maids and I getting our hair and face did, shutting down either Agent Provocateur, Coco de Mer, or La Perla for a few hours as we sip on bubbly and play dress up in little skimpy garments!
All of this will be professionally documented of course.

Duo

Attention all 3 of my followers!

I'm having a Duo Party during winter break!
Not couple. DUO.
Me and my husband are going to be Cleopats and Marc Antones.
And Natalie and Jose are going to be Snooks and Pauly D.
So turn your swag on and take a look in the mirror and say "whats up?!" prior to arrival.
